Konnichiwa ( means hello in Japanese)
Actually, I did the first volunteer activity at EKKA last week.
Again, I was surrounded by strawberries…
I actually visited EKKA 8 years ago when I was studying English at QUT.At that time,I was just a visitor.
Serving the EKKA strawberry sundae was amazingly fun.
I was chopping strawberries with the man who used to be a chef!
Scooping part was just like a competition especially when massive numbers of people came for it!
I loved the cheerful volunteer mates,
and as I was watching people’s smiles having sundaes…I strongly feel it is part ofentertainment.
I was so happy to be part of it.
So, I will introduce ealier strawberry cuttings!
Step1 slice incisions into strawberry. (it will be a mouth)
Step2 give him/her eyes by using melted white chocolate or choc dip.
umm…this time I used choc dip, but it looks a bit too soft.
I recommend to keep it in a fridge for a while.
It won’t takes more than 5 mins, but looks cute.
If you have whipped cream, & melted chocolate, it must be better.
If you put them on cakes, it looks really pretty like this.
Below is my little sister’s Birthday cake.
Second one is easy strawberry heart<3
Step1 cut strawberry into half, and do it same thing again.
Step2 put the cut side together, & cut off extra top part.
you can shape it as you like at this stage.
Done!
I put them on when I baked a browny when we finished the last class.
(DEP2A is actually my class number)
Hope you can share this hearts with someone too<3
